Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. He gained fame due to his work as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 television shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. Two years later, the cancer is now in remission. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on his body. It hindered his development. Because he was a child of poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. He was told by the interviewer that since the way he lived was so shabby throughout his life, I needed financial stability to feel at ease. The man also recalls his early years to help him stay motivated. He says "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." He claims that his dream character would be dads in the real world and on film. However, he does admit that directors don't usually make him the ideal choice for those kinds of jobs. He is hoping to become a father for a child.
