Arian along with her friend Naomi, who formed the tag team alongside Arian in 2012, also made their WrestleMania debut in its XXVIII Edition. The end of 2012, she fought in the TLC (Tables Ladders and Chairs) episode. In February 2013, she took on her first fight in the episode of SmackDown. Since then, she's been appearing at SmackDown Main event along with other WWE shows. Total Divas recruited her in September 2013 through a 7-on-7 tag-team elimination match between True Divas and Total Divas. Mendes was the one that eliminated her. The biggest win came during February 2014's Elimination Chamber episode where she beat AJ Lee and won the Divas Champion title. The following week, she fought a re-match with Lee and was unable to save her title. Ariana then faced Lee to compete for an opportunity to win the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational that was also won by Lee. The trio of her were along with Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 to face Nikki Bella in the handicap in a six-on-one game. However, she only showed up in the event of an assault by Nikki as well as Naomi. Then, she was offered a match with Naomi during the Battleground pre-show event. Ariana won the battle against Naomi during that battle. In the end, their rivalry started. Through the summer, they wrestled in handicapped singles matches, as well as tag teams.
